the MSL will have to get better before Logan joins--just won't get the points for the playoffs

It may be that Chilly opts to join the MSL with their weak sports program. Weaker competition would allow their teams to do better in the MSL than the SEOAL. Same deal as Itown -- can't win it, so take your ball & move on.

But I don't see any advantage for Logan , other than a better travel arrangment and alot of negatives for the Logan sports program with weak competition and a hinderance in the computer rankings for making the playoffs. Logan would be severely penalized for tourament play while being rewarded with easier league sport championships to win. The best teams in the MSL are small division schools where good records are run up but can't see them allowing Logan to play the best small teams, whipping them a new butt and reaping all the computer points. Logan would run away with championships in most sports vs the smaller division schools.

Right now, this is a no-brainer for Logan. The answer is no until a much more competitive & bigger, tougher schools come in.

Laughable...........

Maybe those in charge at Logan is looking at reallity (not living in Fantasy Land) and knows that their Reign in the SEOAL (Football only) is over and therefore their chances in the Playoffs have dropped off considerably after last Season. The move to the MSL makes since then, they have a better chance at winning more games and the Playoffs WELL.......We'll just leave it at that (We all know their track record there).

LMAO..sorry..but if Logan DOES for some reason leave the SEOAL for the MSL..you can HARDLY call that 'cut and run'. Nice try though! They won't be leaving just b/c they couldn't dominate a league! :122249

I must be too old fashioned. I cannot think of any reason to bash other individual high school programs or leagues. The MSL has had many deep runs into state tournaments and has had state championships in multiple sports. There has been many great SEOAL teams in multiple sports over the years with deep runs into state tournaments and state championships. They are two historied leagues with accomplishments to be proud of. I think highly of both leagues.

Go Chiefs gets on here and bashes everyone but his chieftains. And probably whoever the most recent team to knock them out of the playoffs was. Just ignore it. BTW. The MSL DOES have state titles in football and the SEOAL DOES NOT. Just somethin to think about before you go being disrespectful. I do agree that overall the SEOAL is better in football but why be so arrogant about it?

Ironton was in the SEOAL in 79 when they won the "AA" State Championship.

Before you get on here running off the head, might I suggest you learn to read? Please, PLEASE! Show me where I bashed anyone? No, you can't? Imagine that. That's what I thought. Move along and jaw elsewhere. I wasn't 'disrespectful' to the MSL in ANY of my posts.

My apologies. I looked back and that was Paladin whom I meant to refer to who was being disrespectful towards a few other teams and the MSL. My mistake.

Disrespectful or telling the truth ??

The board is here for opinions. And the truth. When you aren't winning or the league is weak, thats not disrespectful. The facts show it is what it is.
