in responding to plilo finest Ironton is not the team of 20 or even ten yrs ago but sheidan does not even compare to ironton. winning a very weak mvl conference does in no way prepare you for a playoff run. why does sheridan beat their chest when they beat up on a div 5 crooksville team or any number of other weak mvl teams and then get it handed to them early on in the playoffs. or tri valley from the mvl also fits that profile. Ironton would hand it to sheridan no question about it.

Though, for how "weak" the mvl is they did go 5-2 against the ECOL this season.

I'm done with this argument, I'm not going to hijack this thread for a pissing contest.

Looks like Coshocton has a pretty good running game 407 Carries for 2558 yards averaging 255.8 yards a game and 6.28 yards per carry.

The Tigers have done well against running Teams this year allowing only 1391 yards Rushing on 337 carries for an average of 139.1 yards a game and 4.12 yards per carry.

Ironton has 451 carries for 2890 yards averaging 289 yards a game and 6.4 yards per carry, can Coshocton slow down Irontons running game???

i've got a lot of friends in coal grove and oak hill. but why does a coal grove poster get on here blasting ironton. it makes no sence at all. we play you all in a scrimmage game, and you all get the proceeds in a game frankly i never thought was a good tuneup game to duel with wheelersburg the following week. frankly i've always felt we needed 2 scrimmages, of higher caliber. we get on the coal grove thread and wish the hornets good luck. you are further proving you picked the right name. if you wanna go there, the last 2 times coal grove was loaded, and they signed on the dotted line with ironton, they got beat in those 2 games a combined 100-0, and thats with the starters just playing the first half , if that. i truley do wish coal grove good luck, and hope you advance, but as thumpers mom told him, if you don't have anything nice to say. well, you know the rest.
