Got to see most of the players Sunday. Sophomore and Senior classes are big (physical size and in numbers). While the Junior classs is smaller in numbers there are some who will contribute.
I'm excited about this edition of the Waverly Tigers. Hope to make the Circleville scrimmage next Friday at Waverly, 6:00p.m. The Tigers scrimmage at Zane Trace this Saturday at 10:00a.m.

Great see allot of these kids out playing. Nice looking uniforms too. Can't wait to see the helmets on them. A brand new look with a brand new attitude - Tigers on the prawl.

i live up here at lake white now in waverly. and i bought one of the cards, that have discounts. from what i'm understanding a new stadium is gonna be built at the present site. but just down the road from me on 220. they have an enourmous flat field. and tons of parking. it seems they have already moved all the other sports there. except basketball. you could have an amazing facility there. since i'm new to the area. i was just curious. i know money is tight everywhere. but if they already know they are building a new facility, why not showcase it there on 220, where the huge sprawling complex of new schools is at.and do they have any saturday games this year, and thank you in advance.

No Saturday games. The current site with Hawhee's Palace is the place for the complex, "downtown" if you will which makes it accessible to many more people. I don't like a track around a football field but allot of people in the community use the track and may not be able to if it was on the hill.

Football, Soccer, Boys Basketball, Track and Tennis (boys & girls) is at this downtown site. The only thing being played on the "hill" is girls basketball, volleyball (same gym), baseball and softball.

I'm hearing lots of good things about this group of "Tigers".

What time does the scrimmage start tonight?

Each team starts our running 10 plays with no clock or chains. Two periods will then be played with clock and chains. During halftime Freshman will play. One more varsity period after halftime then JV play 4th period.
