Re: Week 12: #4 Newark Catholic vs #1 Lucasville Valley
When the SE is the better seed.....the state makes it neutral.....when anyone else is the higher seed, the state makes it closer to the higher seed
Re: Week 12: #4 Newark Catholic vs #1 Lucasville Valley
Yeah jesco I know what u r saying and respect it and don't get me wrong I don't argue with people on here or at least from my end I just enjoy talking football. But some will look down their nose at others who think they r the high school football Wikipedia and I just try to keep it simple for those who don't understand it. I also and correct me if I am wrong u say I sound enthusiastic about learning the point system, just so ya know I know how it works. :122245

This sucks.
Valley fans, myself included, will drive anywhere to watch our team. I have no issue whatsoever with where the game is from a location standpoint. It is just that there is not near enough seating for the crowds that valley brings for Nelsonville to hold. I would have much rather driven to pickerington or reynoldsburg than Nelsonville.

Well Valley and their fans got hosed again by OHSAA. Looks like most of us will have to find a good place to stand like last year because there just is not enough seating.

I agree with you Crabs. I would've drove anywhere. Guess we should be used to it by now.Crab's brother wrote:This sucks.

The home side can't hold Valley's fans?Crab's brother wrote:This sucks.

Ridiculous that they get the game.
Re: Week 12: #4 Newark Catholic vs #1 Lucasville Valley
Valley should have the home side bleachers and if I remember correctly from the last time Burg played there, it should be plenty big enough to hold the fans.
Re: Week 12: #4 Newark Catholic vs #1 Lucasville Valley
If I remember correctly wasn't it like 4 or 5 pm the last few years before ohsaa posted the sites?

I like the choice, and I am up for meeting some Valley posters.
Met a few on my way to Kentucky this season and they were some solid people.

At last years regional championship game there was NOT ENOUGH seating to hold the VALLEY FANS on the home side and they were packed in like sardines...................THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!! This game shoulda been in Columbus somewhere ............................any where but NELSONVILLE !PIRATE_FAN wrote:Valley should have the home side bleachers and if I remember correctly from the last time Burg played there, it should be plenty big enough to hold the fans.

Burg has played there a few times and I thought it was a pretty nice place. Like an above post. Be glad u guys are playin in wk 12 and not gettin ready for round ball. There is a lot of teams who would have been glad to see wk 11 let alone wk 12. Good luck to both teamsN4da'score wrote:At last years regional championship game there was NOT ENOUGH seating to hold the VALLEY FANS on the home side and they were packed in like sardines...................THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!! I won't go as far as to say the place suck. It is a nice facility with nice people and good food. BUT.....it is a fact that there just isn't enough SEATING. If there was enough room for Burg and Ironton, that just tells me that Valley is the best traveling team in SE Ohio. We bring just as many fans to playoff games as we do to home games if not more. In the past 3 years, I have not seen any opponent bring as many fans as Valley. It has not even been close. Last year there wasn't enough room and a lotof people had to sstand. It will be the same this year unless Nelsonville bought a whole new set of bleachers which is highly doubtful.N4da'score wrote:At last years regional championship game there was NOT ENOUGH seating to hold the VALLEY FANS on the home side and they were packed in like sardines...................THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!! Re: Week 12: #4 Newark Catholic vs #1 Lucasville Valley
Burg has always had a lot of fans that have to stand also. That is expected at a playoff game! You have people from all schools that like to watch football so you have a lot more people show up. At least you will be playing. It doesn't matter to me where we will be playing. Just happy to still be in it.nutronron2012 wrote:I won't go as far as to say the place suck.
