Good game from the falcons. I hope that #28 is alright very good football player. I really do like the new uniforms. Good luck the rest of the season except week 6. Coach Daniels and staff have done a great job with their program and what I seen the other night in the 8 th grade game they have a very bright future. Hope I don't get in trouble for the compliment.

Tough four game stretch???.....and they WANT to get into the SOC? Which is it? This four game stretch would be in place EVERY year.

#28 will be OK just a stinger, he was brought off for precautionary reasons.

Minford looked great, they came out and played a more physical game than the Trojans and it was over by mid-2nd quarter. There are still some things that need to be tightened up, like the QB fumbling into the end zone to finish the 3rd quarter opening drive, and receivers dropping wide open passes. I was impressed with the drive that ended the half that Minford took 97 yards and didn't attempt one pass. Overall though, this team is proving they're up to the hype and bringing the hammer with their physical line play.

Good to hear about Carter, thought it might be precautionary but not for sure.

Well, PHS finished 1-3 in the SOC ad hoc league....as stated before this is a tufff strecth for a rebuilding team....not quite correct,,,IMO PHS is not rebuilding a football program, they are basically starting over from scratch and it is going to take some time.......SOC should let PHS in now.....heck ND crushs NW!! Just saying....

I'm not a Trojan fan. Ask one that is a fan.

I believe a statement was made tonight by Minford. Exactly as I expected, Minford's dominance of the line of scrimmage was the difference that stuck out. I will say Portsmouth is improving, but make no mistake, Minford can be GREAT this year. Along with our o-line (Stapleton wasn't touched in pass protection), if the passing game keeps improving (more passing inside the pocket), and we eliminate turnovers (fumble @ the 1 to start the 2nd half was aggravating), then we will be very difficult to beat. Defense continues to play extremely well, so kudos to Coach Matiz. We were 1 fluke play away from our third consecutive shutout. As for Austin Carter, I believe the Falcons dodged a huge injury scare. Last I heard, he eventually had feeling in all body parts and could be good to go for this coming Friday @ Oak Hill. Keep up the hard work Falcons!!!!

Minford was dominant in all aspects of this game. I was very impressed with Portsmouth's speed, especially the Charles kid. He is super quick, has great speed and runs very hard. He never quit running hard even when the game was out of hand.

Good to hear about Carter. I also thought it might have been a precautionary measure to take him off the field the way they did. Better to be safe than sorry.

On to week 5 vs Oak HIll and good luck to the Trojans the rest of the way out.

It is good sportsmanship so why would that be a problem. Grammar problems take away from your intent but we all understand.

Good to hear about Carter.

The last time I complimented another programs coaching staff it ruffled some feathers.

Was being sarcastic. You can shake your head all you want, just go back and look at last years West and Rockhill thread if you think I'm making anything up. This old hillbilly does not worry to much about what other people think about my opinion or my grammar. I should not even made this post but kinda felt like I got called out. Sorry everyone.
