Does that mean they will be 2-8 instead of 1-9.buckeyes009 wrote:Earlier in the week Shenandoah played Bellaire better than many thought. Shenandoah was more physical but Bellaire broke a couple nice runs. Shenandoah people think this will be their best team in 10 years. Van Fossen was absolutely running people over from what I gathered.

Re: Thoughts on the PVC this year?
Anyone have any info on how Caldwells scrimmage went? Believe it was against Williamstown and Belpre.
Re: Thoughts on the PVC this year?
Scrimmages tell the coaches more about their team than it does the fans. Most coaches run basic offensive/defensive schemes, just seeing what areas players need work at. Just like with bball previews, they try not to show their cards this early in the season. Team A beats Team B by 4 scores in scrimmage.....Team B may beat Team A by 6 TD's in regular season.

Apparently Caldwell didn't fare to well?
Re: Thoughts on the PVC this year?
Everyone is way too high on Caldwell. I figure 6-7 wins if that for them. MC is looking good so far, I'm thinking this could be a great year for the Noles.
Re: Thoughts on the PVC this year?
You can't look ahead. If the Skins take it one week at a time and stick together as a team, they will achieve their goals! I know what these boys are capable of, I just wish I was still part of the team. Good Luck Skins, and to all of PVC teams.

I have no idea how Caldwell did in their scrimmages, just stating an observation that many coaches do.

I had heard that Caldwell scored twice and wasn't scored on, but I wasn't sure if that was just against Williamstown or both teams. Was just wondering if anyone had more detailed info.

Caldwell is so good if they can get by Belpre in the region Noone is besting them. Belpre is also loaded with athletes. Not to mention the best head coach in the entire state. I am gonna say Belpre wins the region and state championship

I would love to see one of the local teams win it, Caldwell especially........but I think Minster, reigning D6 state Champs, may have a say in this one.
