Zanesville was faster and stronger than the dogs. They made plays and Athens didn't. Athens can't play defense at all and Zanesville spent all night in Sanos face. It got chippy early with lots and lots of personal fouls.
Athens has a lot of work to do, but they will be getting into league play so they will be able to pick up some wins. I think they can squeek by Warren next week as well.

I think they will improve as the year goes.

Looks like Zanesville is the team to beat in region 9. They looked like a completely different team than last year

As I was saying, Athens is really down this year. But thanks to playing in a minor league , they will win some games. Limited skill and no one in the trenches. Reality.

Potential to lose 2 in the league.

Your post would have some merit had you not been saying it for THREE years, plus 2 games, now.

It's like continuing to say the Browns will beat Pittsburg ... game after game ... year after year ... yea, sure they'll beat em eventually, them some jack*** says 'I told you so.'

Wow Athens really lost more than I thought a few teams may be smiling at it as payback for the past few years.
Hope Athens rights the ship and plays better good Luck Athens for the remainder of the year it may get rough and that is no fun for the kids just hope the look at things getting better for them.
