Really surprised by this. As tough as they played the Burg earlier in the season they sure didn't finish as tough as I thought they would.

Seems like that’s always the case with Minford. They always implode after they play Wheelersburg.

Is that all?? I got to watch some of this game from about the 2nd half on and Levi threw some really nice touch passes and some into tight windows. Seem him miss more open quick passes than the more difficult passes. Kid was a competitor last night and the piketon coaching staff along with anyone watching this game had to know the game was on him on that last long TD run he had. As I'm sitting there thinking Minford has to know no one is touching this ball and the kid shoots up the middle for 60-65 yard TD run.

Junior, Piketons defense rose up the second half and owned the line of scrimmage!

Piketon lost the turnover battle and the field position battle (badly). But, they were a different team after halftime and played lights out on both sides of the ball. Congrats to all these young men!

What a ballgame this was. Minford had most of the momentum in the first half as the Redstreaks had a hard time stopping the run. Piketon made some great adjustments at the half going to a 5 man front to stop the Minford running attack. Gullion was absolutely impressive all night. Hopefully the Redstreaks can pull an upset at Harvest Prep Saturday.

It’s not Matiz he does his job, it’s the head coach that doesn’t listen to his assistants. I say get rid of headman and few assistances get new hire!

There’s quite a few that believe Matiz is just as responsible as Ruby. Based on the last 4 weeks, 4 straight losses and some very questionable player and scheme decisions.

Matiz is a great coach has been for years. As much as I think Ruby needs to go I will say this outside the 4 seniors who actually produce on both sides of the ball the cupboard is very and I mean very bare between the junior and sophomore class. Minford started 3 freshman Friday. If Ruby is gone or if they change the offensive philosophy minford will be good when this freshman class is seniors.
