How long will Meigs tolerate their D1 coach?
Has he ever had any success anywhere he has coached?

Meigs looked to have size and speed, passing game needs work, seemed like the defense was a bit confused.

Meigs is better than it looked. Guessing they will have a full grasp of the new offense and defense when they play Belpre. As much as I wanted us to beat GA, I would be happy with 9-1.

Better face facts and hope for 3-7. From what I saw they have a long way to goMarauderMadness wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 3:41 pm Meigs is better than it looked. Meigs will be back when the junior high gets there they say it's a good group.

In Junior High all you are a good quarterback, running back, receiver and a good lineman and can win

Welcome to Gallipolis,
Only seen 3, The first 2 I couldn't see if anything happen because of the sun but the third was a penalty
The first 2 touchdowns called back they scored a touchdown, anyway, can't remember on the third

Yeah and they were running stuff that we never seen before. Not nice. And that's what happens when you don't practice what you do in the game the players mess it up and you get penalties. So that's on them and quit crying about the refs 305. I think that's all you do on here is complain about coaches and refs from what I've seen. You need to learn to let go and have fun with it. Stop being so bitter. Dude won and he's still angry.
I know, I was D1 fellas

Let me see here. You expect the other team to run what you game planned for? Ridiculous!!! Did you not know that you are allowed to make in game adjustments? The first game is always a bit of a guessing game, new players, players in different positions etc. You can scout scrimmages and learn a little bit I suppose but if you expected them to do exactly what they did the previous year or in scrimmages that's your own fault.

You Can't hand the ball off straight up the middle to an 130 pound running back who runs a 4.5 40 yard dash fifty times a game, He's gotta learn to air the ball out and trust his quarter back/receivers. You also can't change the corner backs and safeties assignments every 5 seconds of the game causing them to get confused.*D1* wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 9:33 amYeah and they were running stuff that we never seen before. yes gallia ran the ball well but anyone who watched the game can say that meigs corners were getting crossed all night long which is what killed the marauders, meigs straight up needs a new head coach as simple as that, anyone who has been watching since tennant took the helm can tell you that. I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings but it's the truth, no reason you should be 9-20 over the past 5 years with all the talent you've had
