He's not good enough for the HS but they hire him for MS? That's just crazy. Is he that desperate too? I would tell the BOE to stick it. Didnt he have other offers?

Had other offers. Loves to coach. Likes the kids. Gas is $4.00 plus a gallon. His own kids are in this district. Besides, I'm sure that in true Fairland fashion, he will be head coach again sometime in the future. Just ask the old, I mean new, basketball coach.

Would someone please tell Coach Wilcoxen that we would love to give his Jr. High team a major discount on full-size decals for this season? We realize that the helmets are green with a white facemask, but we would love to add something to that. Maybe bring back the old "Dragons" script in white? Or some traditional numbers on the side ala Alabama. My brother forgets to mention something to him everytime he sees him. If you need any references in quality, just ask the FYFL about their award decals from last year.

Thanks,

on the subject of mike lamb im one of his former teammates and i have talked to my team this year and we consider mike as a traiter. alot of us older players on the team would love the chance to play ironton just to get a hold of mike and tear him up. but personally i think its stupid for him to go to ironton hes not gonna be a stand out hes juss gonna be another football player at ironton

First off greenandwhiteboy welcome to SEOP. Mike and his family did what they thought was best for Mike's future and I along with several of his teammates wish him the best. I would like to see FHS play the tigers because that would mean the dragons are in the playoffs, but if Fairland does not fill their schedule it will be very difficult to make the playoffs. IMO you really don't want to face the tigers or Mike because they would have their way with you and the dragons. Their line would just smash us to death.

There is nothing wrong with being " just another football player at Ironton".

I checked OHSAA's website yesterday for open dates and Federal Hocking needs a game the same week as we do.I might mention that to Coach Snyder when I see him again!Probably wont be a big playoff point game but it beats not playing at all! ;-)

Earp Greenup Co also has an open date that same week . That would be a good game for some points if we would win.
