the pointers will win this game...their offense is practically unstoppable...and its not just the back doing all the work either...they would have no where to run if the line wasn't dominating...they would be 2-0 if it wasnt for turnovers...and this week they wont turn the ball over

If their offense is so unstoppable, why are they 0-2?

Granted they may be able to win most of the OVC games, but Scioto County is having their way with SP, and although this game may be close for a while, West will have their way with them too.

West completely shut Portsmouth down. Portsmouth managed 28 points on South Point, so West should be able to shut SP's offense to a goose egg, and could possibly throw 40+ points on the board.

I am not a West fan, but right now West looks to be the best team in the area until they are beaten.

How is west the best team in the area????? because they beat fairland and ptown???? both of those schools are gona have a bad year.. i would like to see west match up against ironton... and i can't wait untill they play burg so every1 will stop talking crap about how good west is.... am i saying they suck... no i agree they are havin a good season so far, but i don't think they are as good as burg or ironton

Easy now Killer you still have to play them. By the way they pushed us around, I wouldnt give them any bulliten board mattieral.

OK Burg Grad 06 I agree with Ozz!
First of all going into the season, West was considered to be very good and probably to win the SOC II The last game is still weeks away and we won't crown them yet but until they fall they are shutting teams down! Doesnt matter if it was just Fairland or Portsmouth! Burg & West need to just play their games week by week and stop looking ahead! Besides if you were smart you would want West undefeated going into that game! So IF Burg wins that game, it will equal big points!

West wins this game but SP will give them a Great Game! No shutout, zebras and lucky pass plays won't let that happen! Plus they have a Heck of a running game!

I thought it was a fair question. West may have the best team around, I don't know because I haven't seen them play, nor have I seen many of the area teams play. I have seen wheelersburg, Ironton, and southpoint play. All 3 of those teams are very good in my oppinion but since the burg beat them both I would say the burg is the best team I have seen play but that really isn't saying much because there are a lot of good football teams in the area I have not seen.

P-Town, Point, watched alot of schools scrimmage and yes i no it was a scrimmage but watched Burg and Piketon. West is a good team this year and it will be hard to beat the team i saw play Portsmouth

Moty, scrimmages mean nothing. Coaches talk before and during the scrimmage. burg asks the defense to show a 5-2. Obviously for Ironton. piketon shows a 4-3 or 3-4. You know what I am getting at. But I saw the jackson/Burg scrimmage and Burg dominated. Doesnt mean anything unless you want to say that Jackson beat Waverly and Waverly beat Piketon in regular season! So dont go by the scrimmages. What west has done is really good against 2 teams, 1 of which has showed up for a game and that was fairland. If you didnt see the Burg/Ironton game, then the posts of who is best is mute until Burg and West go head to head. I could care less who West plays, Burg has the X on their back and West doesnt, YET! LOL. SP and burg have played the last 3 years and know what to expect of the defenses and offenses. I know Portsmouth and West have played every year for awhile so this Burg/Portsmouth game could be a tool to see whos on top. But Ptown will make adjustments and that could counter our perception. Also, West and SP havent played forever and this game IMO will not be a judge on what the Burg vs West teams will do in week 10. MO is SP is smaller and quicker than either team West has played so far. SP just played a quicker and faster team in Burg and hung on. They got beat by Ptowns QB in week 1. First game between those two teams. Ptown normally plays Chesy. West will get a good challenge this week and if they just dont completely dominate, they could be in trouble. Refs missed alot of calls on Both sides of the ball especially burg Qb fake to White and run for a td. Checkout Drrabbits pic. on Burg/SP thread.

i acknowledged it was a scrimmage he asked who all i watched. As far as West\Burg goes thats a long way away and alot can happen. I wasnt saying West was better. Guess people are worried

I'm not worried about PWest/Burg, I am worried pwest will overlook SP! LOL. West a good team. but I still pick SP because they are at home and the refs are faulty??? Also, West hasnt seen a team like this, but its only week 3!
