Not trying to hide anything. I've watched you and a couple of others thrash Ironton for several years now and I think you need to confront what I've pointed out to you. Year in, year out, them Tigers are winners! only one losing season in over 40 years and they have nothing to be embarrassed about pertaining to their record, whom they schedule and how good the program has been since the playoff era begainnoreply66 wrote:You need to bail out--and you know you are trying to start something-you didn't hide it with those words.kantuckyII wrote:Not trying to start anything but perhaps it's time for Logan to bail out too? I mean, you all have lost 8 games already. The last time the Tigers lost 8 games in one year; The Mama & The Papa's 'Monday Monday' was on the hit charts, The Andy Griffith Show and The Beverly Hillbillys were still in production, you could buy a dozen eggs for 60 cents and a gallon of gas for 32 cents and Lyndon B. Johnson was president!noreply66 wrote:Ironton ran from the league and I wouldn't let them back in or play them.
It is a little different with Athens and a couple others because it was their first.

Come back when Ironton wins a championship of ANY kind.
It's been since 1999. Lutz didn't punt and he's been out coached ever since. Its a real shame the direction of that program since that decision. Wait till Lutz finally hangs it up. Then we'll see where the once might Tigers are.
Lutz was a great coach. And Ironton was fortunate to have him for 40 years. Amyx was a great coach and Logan was lucky to have him for 20 years. I have a feeling your fortunes won't be too different when you have a change.

Yes it was in 99 when Ironton last won a state championship but they contend every year for the playoffs.LoganLocos wrote:kantucky -

The question is when was the last state football tittle Logan?
In fact when have they made it past the 2nd round and that is a legit question on that one because I want to know Logans playoff history.
