Not the first time I've been called an idiot on here and IMO he is the player of the year.
To me, there are other things to factor in with the player of year. To me it is not all just about the numbers but the little things like how the player acts on and off the field and all I've heard about Brandon is that he is a class act. I don't see him showboating on the field and when he gives an interview on the radio, he gives out all the praise to his teammates.
Also you have to factor in, does the Burg, no. 1, win the SOC without him? Doubtful. Does the Burg go 8-2 and make the playoffs without him? Doubtful
Looking at the player from Ursuline, Teague i think is his name. Do they go 10-0 without him? Probably yes, because they would have just recruited in a back just as good as him. Do they make the playoffs without him? Same as above
So yes, you might think I'm idiot, but I'm an idiot who is able to give an opinion and I will stand behind that opinion.
Why don't you come down and check him out first hand? What is really sad is that because he isn't 6'2" and 225Lbs, he won't get a sniff from any of the big colleges. Schank can play at the next level and am looking forward to following him if he chooses to play after HS.
Like was said above and I've said it also and I've been watching Burg football for about 35 years, he is the best back I've ever seen at the Burg. The funny thing is that his all-purpose yards would be higher if they would kick the ball to him. He is to dangerous and has the potential to return the kick back for a TD that teams have been kicking the ball out of bounds, giving the Burg the ball on the 35 yaard line just because of him.
