To be fair, I think any team you can consider to be "okay" or "decent" from Central Ohio will beat 80%+ of the teams from Southeastern Ohio that are of comparable size and are considered to be "good" down here. Ready just happens to be a very good team from Central Ohio this year.Lattimer wrote:This is by no means a slam on Oak Hill, but Ready could beat any team in southeastern Ohio. Face it when you recruit and your loaded at all positions like Ready it will take a miracle to beat them. I hope Oak Hill can beat Ready.
Week 11: #7 Oak Hill @ #2 Bishop Ready

The statement will be put to the test before this Region is decided. :122245The FC Fan wrote:To be fair, I think any team you can consider to be "okay" or "decent" from Central Ohio will beat 80%+ of the teams from Southeastern Ohio that are of comparable size and are considered to be "good" down here. Valley is a very good team. Valley, Wheelersburg, Athens and maybe Chillicothe are the only four SE Ohio teams i think that would be very competitive with a similarly sized and competitive foe from the Columbus area. Don't know if this year's Trimble team would beat Ready or Newark Catholic, probably not.nutronron2012 wrote:The statement will be put to the test before this Region is decided. :122245The FC Fan wrote:To be fair, I think any team you can consider to be "okay" or "decent" from Central Ohio will beat 80%+ of the teams from Southeastern Ohio that are of comparable size and are considered to be "good" down here. Burg got beat handily by the Silver Knights in a scrimmage, neither team having starting QB in

Private vs catholic vs public ...everyone has a different take.if you really want to get the big picture look no further .i will use div 3as a example..in Columbus..compared to.. Say..Vinson county ..buy numbers in school this is even..now consider how many big city's is around it 0. All country ..this means only kids that have a way back and forth can play. It happens a lot in southeastern ohio..figure that in now look at a division 3school in Columbus neighborhood schools a lot more body's to choose from no travel time all local it's a no brainier..more bodies more talent to choose from.. But in southeastern ohio we will take on all challenges and won't back down. Ready is beatable take it to em

You are actually wrong about that. Readys first string was up 21-7 when both teams started substituting and I believe it ended up Burg 42 Ready 24.local superstar wrote:Burg got beat handily by the Silver Knights in a scrimmage, neither team having starting QB in

No surprise here. Congrats on a good season. Don't let the last game taint it. You were playing when most teams were not.
Re: Week 11: #7 Oak Hill @ #2 Bishop Ready
Happy to see Ready didn't run up the score....Congrats on a fine season Oaks....

Oaks had a great year. Now go win some hoops with Stormin Norm!
Re: Week 11: #7 Oak Hill @ #2 Bishop Ready
How'd the Yoho kid do at QB for Ready? When did they take him out because he usually only gets to play half or less than half a game. Is he the real deal?
Now they take on Monroe Central, could be interesting.
