Both are excellent football teams, both are playing very well right now. Each team is very capable of lighting up the scoreboard. I'm not really sure about either team's defense at this point. The team that can show the most balanced attack on offense could have a big advantage. In a game such as this, the team that has the least amount of turnovers and penalties and plays the cleanest game will usually walk off the field as the winner.

I think Waverly has better talent, but you can't pick against the Pirates given our history. Waverly has "spit the bit" many times against the Pirates. Two years ago I thought Waverly would win, but we fumbled the opening kickoff, then fumbled our first carry away...down 21-0 before we even really possessed the ball. It's time for the Tigers to play to their potential in a big game and not buckle under pressure. I honestly believe if you put the Pirates in a different uniform this week, we'd win by two touchdowns. But, since they will be in their orange and black, I don't know how you can't make the Pirates the favorites. I will be going on my usual whitewater rafting trip this weekend, but hope to be able to stream the game from the hills of West Virginia. Go Tigers!

Chilli and Minford are bad
Tommy Chong is always wrong

What four are not?
Just a rough estimate guess 🤷‍♂️
You’re underestimating this burg team. They are a whole lot better than last years team.
I agree, while last years team had more standout players that were seperated from the rest, this years team is fundamentally sound and gets the job done. Overall I think this Burg team should prevail in this one by one score with a final drive by Waverly getting shutdown by the Burg's secondary.

This years class don’t have 3 automatic beat downs from Ironton Jackson and Bishop Hartley , so keep bashing the 2019 Pirates. They were SOC champs , will 2020 be ???

2019 pirates over achieved like usual. They played over and above what they actually were. This years team would beat last years team easy.

Since the Big 10 is not playing this fall, word on the street is that Kevin Schwarzel has picked up a few high school games to officiate and he's on this game. Bad news for the Pirates...

This Tiger team is different...they win it and bring hone the SOC crown...Coach Crabtree and staff put together a great game plan and the Tigers bring it home!! It will be a battle and who could want it any other way. I hope both teams are healthy when it’s all said and done bc both will make the SOC proud in the future.

Coach Crabtree of the Tigers knows how to get over the hump vs the Pirates...Friday night is a reckoning...reap the whirlwind Sheriff Brady...
