Athletes are not transferring to Fort Frye. Nobody from Fort Frye is a division 1 caliber athlete. They're not out there hurting people. Fans aren't hostile. What is it about Fort Frye that would make them have to travel two hours every Friday to play some elite private school?

We're like the high school buddy who got successful, then you stopped hanging out with them because their success makes you feel bad about yourself. We are just another southeastern Ohio school. Why wouldn't we play other southeastern Ohio schools?
I’m not sure why you folks at the fort think warren , Caldwell Monroe and other local teams owe you a game each year , they don’t want to play you move on find someone who does all the teams that don’t want to play you would love to have that problem if you have to go 2 hrs then do it. It won’t last forever enjoy it while you can
I bet if it was your team being punished for being good you wouldn’t be happy. That sad part of it is Fort used to get drug by Shenandoah , Monroe and Caldwell every year and never thought of dropping any of them. This is a losing mentality. Fort Frye is trying to schedule some much bigger teams Parkersburg South , John Glenn , Amanda Clearcreek , Martins Ferry , and Bellaire just to name a few. You have to think we are still one of the smallest teams in D6 with normally 30-35 players. We can’t afford to go play super squads and risk injury it’s just not going to happen.
I get it but they don’t want to play you and your not in a league now so they don’t have to , fort is in a bad spot local teams don’t want to play and teams further away and successful are not going to want to come to Beverly because of the facility’s. You may have to travel further and take road games. Your fans will follow. Like I said it won’t last someday they will want you on the schedule and maybe your not gonna want to play them. Is what it is

I've obviously misread the title of this thread.

"potential matchup of Warren & FF at some point in the distant future"

The only match up that matters in SEO is Trimble at FF in 2021

Give us some insight on Fairland. I’ve seen about 2 quarters.

Is this still the fairland vs fort Frye thread lol. Frye takes it but I think fairland will keep it close for a little bit. The hunt kid is a stud. I know nothing about Frye except they are pretty good.

You warren people please stop. You had a good run. Your JV got beat down by Waterford’s JV. Your just asking for trouble pretending you can match up with Fort next year. Your coach is going to depart once the Big Reds job opens up anyways. Good luck to the fort. This could be the year!

Cadets defense has been on another level out scoring opponents 139-12 during the playoffs (6 of those points was on jv). They’ve caused 13 turnovers in those games.

Cb play has been fantastic with Nic Hart and Jaymison Baker both have 6 Ints each in 9 games.

Hoping trimble has alot coming back on their varsity, because if they're relying on jv to fill some spots they weren't very good

Trimble would be the favorite vs FF next year. Good test for FF

Cadets return most of the guys that scored sat. Fort Frye is loaded next year.

Once again not sure what this has to do with this game.

They've won 3 playoff games.
They shouldn’t have beaten Nelsonville.
😭😭😭 move on my friend.... get on to something else
Tough pill to swallow when you see a team go down like that. You just have to feel sorry for them. I didn’t have a dog in the fight with Nelsonville being our rival and barley knowing who Fairland is. Believe me, if Fairland went down like that, I’d be mad for you as well.
And if you want to be like that, speaking of “getting on something else” I got something you can get on. I’ll be sure to stream this game and watch the Cadets take y’all to the woodshed.

I say we change the title to "TVC people being whiney and narcissistic," then start a different thread about Fort Frye and Fairland. We can talk about this week's REGIONAL FINAL, and maybe even exchange groundskeeping tips. What kind of fertilizer are you using on that grass?

Fairland has a few playmakers on offense. Most notably is #4 Brumfield who had 100 rushing and 100 receiving yards last night. I’m not sure of all the stats as the paper didn’t list all of them.

Fairlands offense is good. Forts offense is better. Fairlands defense will give up a lot of points, Forts defense much better than Fairlands. Fort by 3 touchdowns. By the way Fort plays Warren week 5 next year. Fort will be as good next year and Warren won't be. Look for Fort to beat Warren big next year! IMO

How did they get him the ball? Barnesville ran a lot of rollout run/pass option plays that were tough to defend. They also made yardage with some play action passes for 8-10 yards at a time. They just had a really hard time running the ball, so when the field got short the passing game was easier to shut down.

You’re right mixed up Trimble and Warren.
