Week 7 Valley (4-2) at Waverly (5-0)

Tigers better clean it up this week. Too many mistakes like tonight and next week will be bad.

They better clean it up quick or they will be coming back to Waverly after getting thumped by the Pirates.

Valley played so hard but they’re so outnumbered. They’re hurting and playing hurt. Was extremely proud of their effort tonight. Was kind surprised at Waverly’s final TD throw to #6. They were up plenty and Valley had a freshman secondary in. Really no need for that deep ball at that point. Get healthy and keep fighting Indians!

Deep ball? It was 13 yards.

Valley played hard and never quit, just outmanned and outgunned. After Waverly went up 28-7 you think the blowout may be on but Valley answered with a nice TD on 4th down to make it a 28-14 game. Just didn’t have enough to get any closer.

Just curious, why do they keep running it ? Seems to me the wise thing to do would be eliminate the play before the burg game or it might cost waverly the conference title.
