Wow. You sure are a grumpy old man. No need to attack people bc he is trying to support the kids and not the coach.
Your ugliness does not help you defending your opinion sir.
Re: Belpre football
Because of you guys I understand why we are a lost community right now. Better clean the school windows til we get a new school facility!

Re: Belpre football
It’s still mind boggling to me that this administration and board would allow this to go on given the failure of a new facility levy by a mere sixty votes this past spring. They only have to sway thirty voters to the other way of thinking. Surely their leadership here should be considering what’s best for Belpre City Schools as well as the Belpre businesses and taxpayers? Doesn’t appear to be the case given what’s at stake. Gotta feel bad for the players going through this ordeal but commend them greatly for trying.

Great comments. Accurate. Everyone of meaning is dominated by Big M. Dunno how he manages to be everyone’s decision maker. His only business experience is managing several counters at Kroger but he dominates a highly educated Supt. By the way our Supt is a good and caring guy but he jumps as high as Big M wants.

I work almost 24/7 and drive a distance to work. No time to file a petition. Thanks for caring. I guess CRAP remains in office and running everything.
Re: Belpre football
Belpre should prepare for a brake beating. The Cats are breathing fire after what happened at Eastern.
Re: Belpre football
Town, schools and teams can rebound rapidly with classy leadership. Absent this support, failure exists. What does failure look like? GO LOOK AT BELL AND HIS TEAM.
This is our town. We need to fix it.

The real reason he can’t do a petition is because he doesn’t live in belpre. he lives in Marietta.justpassinthru wrote: ↑Tue Oct 04, 2022 8:00 amHere ya go.Tiger73 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 03, 2022 8:04 pm Great comments. Re: Belpre football
What we need….let’s get a new school facility, let’s get football kids the best leadership possible and let’s urge the Supt to strengthen his Board. I had great coaching and we won and we gotta get all this back.
Re: Belpre football
It looks like you’ve finally found someone to trash talk Gray Cat. BTW, how many playoff points did you get last week from getting beat by Eastern?

Re: Belpre football
Really like to see Belpre get a touchdown. Those kids have to hear about it at school. Morale can't be much lower can it?
Re: Belpre football
New school, great leadership….the best medicine.
Everyone needs to concentrate on these items.

I won't be surprised if Trimble wins out. Good things going on right now and the team will have some new looks and a new attitude. Count on it.

Re: Belpre football
Sorry, recall does not apply to school board members in Ohio.
“The Ohio Constitution provides for the removal of public officers upon complaint and hearing for any misconduct involving moral turpitude, and by impeachment. The Ohio Constitution specifies that, additionally, an officer can be removed from office through another “method of removal authorized by the Constitution.” The only other method of removal authorized by the Ohio Constitution is through the Home Rule Amendment to the Ohio Constitution. The Home Rule Amendment allows for recall elections of elected officials of a municipal corporation if that municipal corporation has a charter authorizing recall elections.1 Because complaint and hearing is not part of a recall procedure, other state and local officers, such as members of school district boards of education, may not be removed from office via a recall election.”

We host Eastern (Reedsville) tonight in our last home game as we honor our 5 football seniors plus seniors for Band, Cheerleading, Soccer, Volleyball, Cross Country and Golf.
Our boys will show up and play their hearts out tonight as they have all season.
Last year, Eastern won 46 - 0. They were the only team to shut us out in 2021. Sadly, we have only scored 3 points this season so it doesn't look promising to get a TD tonight. For the boys sake, I hope we get our first TD of the season.
Good luck and good health to both teams.
As always...

Wow, to think a team has not scored one single TD in an entire season is an unbelievably sad statistic. I feel so horrible for those kids for busting their butts all year and seeing little results for their efforts. Keep fighting young men!Buckeye2021 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 14, 2022 1:27 pmAnybody know if a team has not scored a touchdown in a whole season?BJCassady wrote: ↑Fri Oct 14, 2022 12:08 pm We host Eastern (Reedsville) tonight in our last home game as we honor our 5 football seniors plus seniors for Band, Cheerleading, Soccer, Volleyball, Cross Country and Golf.
