Wow I stopped watching from the stands. Thought this one was locked up.

Wheelersburg will need a better effort next week. I think WM isn’t half bad. Still should win though.

I wouldn’t have thrown the ball once. lol. There were some good pass calls at time. I thought burg looked dead legged. That 3 1/2 hour ride showed. Great game by union local. They fought to the end

Some of the pass plays weren’t bad, but Burg’s pass game just isn’t that good. They need to throw out of play action or on running downs just to keep the D honest.

Four pass plays in a row? Terrible!!

Oh no. We always find a way to keep it closer than it should be.

Burg had a TD called back late in the 4th that would have sealed it. They also had quite a few big plays called back for holding.

UL didn’t have one holding call all night. I don’t understand why they didn’t throw more because their quarterback had all the time in the world. They had some good receivers too.

Burg probably had more holding calls in this game than they’ve had all year

Yep. Completely went away from brown during that series. He was running all over them Burg still trying to play like it’s 2017. Evans had one good run on the jet sweep and all the other ones. He doesn’t cut it up in time and end up with the loss of yards.

The jet sweep!! I hate that play with a passion. Not effective against good teams.

I respect the coaches trying to get Evans some touches, but that play is not it.

I actually like that idea. Throw some curveballs at the D.

if he is capable of playing TB then he should have been playing there early in the yr when brown was hurt and a soph was getting majority of the carries

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY THE 2 SAFETYS FOR THE BURG DON"T TRY OUT FOR CHEERLEADING. THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT FOOTBALL. ONE OF THEM COULDN'T COVER A 8TH GRADER.

Yeah, Mowery saved their bacon on the interception. Safety play been an issue most of year for whatever reason against passing teams.*

Only watched part of it, but Burg should run Brown 25-30x/game if his ankle can handle it. Passing game still rough, but qb just has to hit enough passes to keep opposing defenses honest.*

I said that earlier in the season. He is by far the best athlete on the field and gets the ball maybe 10 times a game. Put him at TB along with Brown and Emmett and go full house and see what happens.

He needs more touches

my guess is if he didnt play there early in the yr than hes no rb. they can run brown alot and mix in some qb run and 11 and be effective

Yet the coaches keep running the jet sweep with him…

All kinds of ways to use him in the backfield that are much better options than the jet sweep.

has he showed anything on jet sweep or on punt returns that makes you think hes a rb?
