Southeast OH Regional Powerlifting Meet Feb. 23 @ Coal Grove
Coal Grove High School will be hosting the Southeast Ohio Regional Powerlifting Meet on Saturday February 23, 2008. Anyone interested in attending please contact Coach Jay Lucas at [email protected]

The meet for Saturday is still on. We are looing to have a great meet. Come and see the strongest kids in Southern Ohio! Weigh-Ins are from 10:00 to 11:15 and lifting will start at 11:20.

Coal Grove won the meet, and Piketon came in second place.
Im not sure about individuals that much, but Dustin Harmon from Coal Grove won the top total overall. He also won top bench, and first in the unlimited division.

Josh Walker of Rock Hill weighted in at 198 lbs. and moved up to the 210 lbs. weight class....And, won his weight class....
Squat - 550 lbs.
Bench - 330 lbs.
Deadlift - 525 lbs.
Total - 1405 lbs.
Now, it's on to the state....He was 5 lbs. shy of a State Championship last year....
Josh, will be 2008 210 lbs. State Champ....

I believe Dustin Harman and Tony Murphy of Ironton both tied at 400 lbs. on the Bench....

that is true but harmon won because in case of a tie, it goes by who weighs the least

I would like to see the individual results from the meet, including the girls. Heard Tori Smith from Coal Grove finish a first in bench with 125 lbs.

Yes Eagles73, Coal Grove lost the team title back in I think 2003 in which Symmes Valley won it. In that same year Symmes Valley took I believe 2nd Place in State.
