Triplett to Rock Hill???

Post by creature »

Word on the street is that after being spurned by SP, Triplett may take is sideshow to "The Hill". Oh my what a series of unfortunate events that would be for the SP hopeful.

Wouldn't be the first time that I have heard that name mentioned for Rock Hill...

Yeah, Knipp still has an existing contract and word has it RH could not afford to "buy" him out.
So, that's not happening.

I beleve supllementals vary depending on how each district has their contracts written. But, at RH they are all non-renued each year. Meaning every supplemental there has to be reapplied for each year. I "believe" thats the way it is at "The Hill". I had heard Tripp was mentioned last season as a replacement but with lay-offs coming they couldnt justify bringing a coach in, giving him a teaching job and then laying people off.

I think triplett would be a good fit at the hill, but i also think the talent level has been down the last couple of years. Todd just didn't have a lot to work with out there. Maybe a change might get more kids that want to play, sometimes it helps too bring in new people too get a turn around in the number of kids too play.

Let's face it. Triplett would make a great fit in ALOT of schools.

If it's true that all supplement contracts are 1 year? Wouldn't it make since Triplett already has a teaching position at West, his dad is doing better and he's ready to get back into coaching that he stay at West and coach? I for one would love to see that happen.

I think RH suffers from the same thing SV does. Their school district is so spread out and kids have such a distance to travel to get to practice that their families have a hard time managing getting them back and forth...this isnt an excuse, but just a thought... Id love to see the CG vs RH games of the past....

There is a reason why South Point never wins! This latest decision in football is just another example of it.

guess i should have said what SV used to suffer from... Now they take pride in the program and people wanna be a part of a winning team... RH has to start winning some games and not be the laughing stock of lawrence county...

Graduated in 96. 95 Football season.

Also, Todd does a great job at Rock Hill. They have been conf. champs and a playoff team under him. This is a typical reaction after a down run of talent.
