WOW - the internet connection is terrific tonight - really fast and repeating [with a few second delay] the exact same WIRO Radio broadcast [commercials and all] I'm hearing at this time - 6:50 PM here in Ironton. I have to turn off the internet sound now because I can't listen to both: echo effect.

I find it quicker and easier to keep ADDING info to one post using EDIT rather than making multiple REPLY'S. If other posts get added to this thread it pushes the box I'm working in up out of sight.

The last few weeks the IFT have been the Visitors in other schools' Homecoming Games - now it's our own HOMECOMING CELEBRATION against an undefeated Jackson Ironmen Team. I don't understand why in high school coaches don't make absolutely clear on that end of the half play with 15 seconds left, the DBs are to tackle the receiver if he gets past you. It's only a 15 yard penalty, hold his arms down, tackle him I don't care. Take the penalty over the TD. Good game Jackson, Ironton defense needs improvement.

Can Ironton make the playoffs at 7-3 if they win out? Portsmouth may only get on more win and finish at 2-8. Simon Kneton only has 2 wins so far this season. They will have to beat a 5-0 Hartley team(depending on how they did tonight) to have any shot I think.

Congrats to the Ironmen on a huge victory. Not to many teams that leave Tank Stadium a winner.

We need to learn how to defend against a spread defense first. Also, nothing's going to change as long as Lutz is coaching. No team needs a game tape to review our offense, everyone knows what's going to be called.
