Dicuss the Freshman teams and projections. I heard that Chillicothe has cancelled their Freshman season due to not having enough players to field a team. Is this true?

There is not enough Freshmen teams. Right now, Vinton County has two freshmen games scheduled. They at one time had a full schedule but our AD has been fielding calls from other schools canceling those games because those schools don't have enough to field a Freshmen team.

Jackson has cancelled their freshman game with Wellston due to not enough kids.

Chilli has cancelled their freshmen season.

Vinton should call Logan. I know we had Jackson AND Chillicothe on their schedule and they have cancelled, maybe they'd be interested.

West for the first time in a while has a freshman team that practices together daily, instead of being used as a scout team ext. for the Varsity. Very talented group with speed and major size upfront. I expect them to do very very well.

Who is the Qb for West's freshman team?

Ratliff. Very good athlete and a big kid. Seems smart and well spoken. If I was a betting man, I think he'll be a 3 year starter at QB.

I know Gallipolis has Jackson and Chilli. on there schedule, I would hope our AD is trying to schedule another game but if I know our athletic dept. they will be happy not playing those games and will make no effort to get another game. Sorry to be negative and I hope I am proved wrong.

This year west has a great all around ball-club this year.
They are play in as a team on both sides of the ball.
Plus West has some good players coming up, if west dont win state this year they will have 3 more years to try. They will be a great team.

Panthers JV team is made up of 22 freshman. Throw in the frosh that start high school and this will be a promising team in the future. They are 3-3 and have faced lots of sophomore and junior laden JV's so far.
