Re: Adena at Oak Hill Scrimmage
This should test the Oaks run defense. The Oaks have to be strong against the ground game to beat the likes of Portsmouth East ,Minford, and Rock Hill among others.
The Oaks offense can score on anyone. They just need to execute, and they will be fine.

Re: Adena at Oak Hill Scrimmage
Good luck to the Oaks tonight. Adena has been very consistent the last few years and they will definitely give Oak Hill a good look. Hopefully the Oaks can continue to build on last week's success and put together another good effort tonight to build some momentum for Week 1 against Peake.

Made it down to Oak Hill after the Jackson-Burg scrimmage. I believe the Oaks first string outscored Adena 4 TD's to 2. Oak Hill had both the passing game and running game going well. Their offense is extremely potent and will be a nightmare to defend this season. It looks as though they're playing very solid football heading into the opener.

I have to agree Adena's RB was a hard runner.
The Oaks played very well in both the passing and running games last night. The lefty showed great poise and touch in his passes. It should be a great season for the Oaks.

Adena's fullback is tough. I know I should know his name as I think he was the league MVP last year for Adena.
The Oaks looked very good, I thought. They just need to go off the ball and NOT before! lol
Chris, Weston and Peteeeee ran the ball very hard and are making some great breaks - forcing missed tackles........I think they along with the Jesse- JD Hale hook up will give teams some trouble.
Like I said the Line is moved aroung this year and the guys just need some time to form.
Jesse looked like Jesse- I just have to keep him planting- then throwing and not forcing any throws! (yes I am the official QB coach, they just don't know it though ...lol)
Seriously, all of the kids are looking good and need to continue giving 110 %.
Go Oaks!
A big cheer to the talents of Miss Angie and Miss Joy for the wonderful job on the All Day Saturday Oaks Day.

Re: Adena at Oak Hill Scrimmage
from what i saw fri. nite, the oaks offense is pretty much right where everyone would hope they would be. backs were running hard, and jessie was throwing pretty well. the defense on the other hand was not so great. the running back for adena had over 100 yards in the first quarter. a 75 yard td, and a 40 yard td. It will not be good with teams like Minford, Rock Hill and East that run, ALOT. if the defense can improve on that, it should be a great season in Oak Hill
