if you play them it counts as an open week as far as playoff points.

It's a team mainly for home-schooled kids, but others can play as well.
As stated before they are not counted for points and they are not part of OHSAA.

Worthington Christian and home-school kids. They play and practice at the Worthington Christian complex behind the church.

i still don't get it......
why would any team want to risk getting a good player hurt for the season playing these teams after the pre-season scrimmages.

So I dont understand??Why arent they just called Worthington Christian?I mean they have mostly their kids playing for them??So does anybody know if they have any standout players this year?I saw some Columbus Dispatch articles on them from back around 2003 and it appeared they had a pretty potent passing game back then! And they did beat Lockland that year who normally has some good athletes.I am just curious as to how they are this year??

Philo has a kid that played for them when he went to Zanesville Christian. His brother also played and is now starting on the football team at Muskingum.

They are a Club Christian Football Team. Why aren't they just called Worthington Christian you say? This is why.

Not only is the team open to all Christian home schoolers, but to all Christian Schools that do not have a football program. Like, Delaware Christian, Gahanna Christian, Westerville North-Side Christian, Groveport-Madison Christian, Columbus Tree of Life Christian, Columbus Liberty Christian, Mt. Vernon Academy, Plain City Shekinah Christian, Columbus Central Baptist, Columbus High Street Christian, Columbus Adventist Academy, Granville Christian, Zanesville Muskingum County Christian, Zanesville Christian, Heath Licking County Christian, Washington C.H. Fayette County Christian, etc, etc.

Many say, why play them, no one benefits from it. No points. Right? True, but there are teams still playing them.
They have defeated some decent public, private and catholic schools in Ohio since starting the Club Christian Football Program.

I remember when we played Maysville, KY one year when Snyder was coach. Talk about a long trip.
