Sounds good. I say Chilli 21 Brookhaven 14. Went to St. Charles for the scrimmage tonight. The teams played 2.5 qtrs with the score being tied 21 /21. Go Cavs!!!! We like what we are seeing!!!! Knights had a 60 yd. strike to Scott for a touchdown.

Also attended the Chilly/St. Charles game... left knowing the Cavs still have ALOT improving to do.
The good:
-Chilly dug itself out of an early 14-0 hole. That alone served notice this group of kids won't quit.
-Knights arm and legs... he got the Cavs out of several tough situations, always aware on the field.
-Chillys overall depth, still alot of kids being rotated with many capable backups.
The bad:
-According to one St. Charles parent, they dressed 6 or 7 Seniors... that wasn't an
experienced team Chilly faced.
-The Cavs likely outweighed St. Charles 30-40 lbs. per kid up front, smaller/quick teams are gonna
be tough on the Cavs, and they don't come much quicker than the 'Haven.
-Mistakes, it is still early, and alot of kids are just now getting up to "Game" speed, but 2 personal fouls
and a couple turnovers were really costly tonight.
All in all not bad though, but a more focused and disciplined Cav squad had better make the trip to Columbus again next friday, or the result won't be as good.

Lamont Cranston,
Thinks for the preview. Hopefully coach D will have our CAVS ready to play next Friday.

Hello Army! Were you at ST. Charles? I really think that our offense is in good shape. I think that the coaching staff needs to fine tune some areas on defense and we will then be ok. What is your opinon? I really like the way that the offense line bonds together when they come to the sidelines.

Re: week 1:chillicothe@brookhaven
I had a chance to see Brookhaven against Lancaster last night in 2 quarters of live scrimmage. Brookhaven's over all team speed to play a major factor in this game as well as first year Junior Starter at QB, Red is the kids last name, once he settles in under center he will be a very capable QB for the Bearcats
Also, Brookhaven's o-line/d-line seems to have more size this season than in years past.

No couldn't make it, but what I saw in the Greenfield Scrimmage, I was impressed with the CAVS this year.
GO CAVS...beat Brookhaven

Re: week 1:chillicothe@brookhaven
scooter, i was there last night. i think #1 and #31 should take turns at the tailback position. curt smith should be the one poundin it in down by the goal line. another thing i don't think your qb should be the leading rusher. ground game needs to get worked out. you can tell your missing an offensive coordinator. Davidson is good with the ol but not play calling as a oc. on defense you can tell # 7 is to young. they should put #31 at corner or switch him and smith around on the defense. a lb needs to stay in the middle to defend the run. once they get that taken care of chilli should be just fine. why doesn't the vest and gray kid play both sides of the line? imo, i think they should. i was talkin to the brookhaven scouts last night they left after the 2nd quarter and said they"d seen enough and they thought chilli would be no problem come friday night. i hope you guys make some adjustments because if you do i think chilli will win. also, i saw some of the kids trying to tell #22 nice touchdown on the sideline and he wavied them off. i think it is dead wrong for a player to have that kinda attitude with his teamates. especially when some of them were ol players who if they had'nt blocked for you there would be no td!!! i heard some of your parents talking about thats the one that doesn't practice half time but the coaches and davidson basically let him do what ever he wants. a player like that could hurt a team more than help. good luck to you all friday night!!!! i'm headed south.
Re: week 1:chillicothe@brookhaven
I don't think Davidson is calling the offensive plays. I heard it was Coach Pack.

I hope Brookehaven thinks they'll be just fine because they'll overlook the cavs like they did two years ago.

Re: WK 1 Chillicothe @ Brookhaven
Last season my prediction for C-Cothe was they would struggle and this held true. I also said in 2008 they would be a very good team. I think this game will go a long way in molding my prediction for this season.
The Haven won't be the Haven of old but they have a shot at a very good season.
Prediction,35-33 C-Cothe.
I see the kicking game playing a big part in this one or maybe the lack of one.

Chilli will find a way to win this one. It'll be close but I truly believe that the CAVS will put it together this year (except week ten of course). Watch the Groveport/Brookhaven game and you'll figure out how to shut those guys down. Good luck CAVS!!

Rock over big speakers gets no one hiped. It's all about Hip Hop ask Michael Phelps what he listens too, he said STRICTLY hip hop.
take notes
AC/DC annoying whinning type of music gets old and is played out. Want your players hiped and ready put on hip hop just get the edited versions.
