OK so a day after watching the Burg play a AWESOME game, makes me want Friday to be here even more. So let's talk it up and hope Friday comes quickly!

I haven't seen much from SP this year so i really can't talk much about them , but it appears like they stayed in the game with Portsmouth. Plus after a couple years ago the Burg knows they can't EVER take SP lightly. Should be a good game but I think Burg is too strong for SP in the long run

After watching South Point against Portsmouth, it makes me think this will be a great game. South Point has a great running game and can throw it now and then if needed. I say SP by 6

Wheelersburg has to much speed and too many athletes. I'll say Pirates 21-7.

From what i heard about the SP PHS game, this is gonna be another great High School game.

You dont play the game on paper, so you cant really go with that.

BURG does have some great speed, I have not heard a lot about SP, so i cant say a whole lot.

Somebody had posted on another thread that they saw Tyler up and running back and forth on the sidelines behind the bench during the 4th quarter comeback, so my guess is he will be okay. Even if he can't go next week, after what Brandon did in the 4th quarter to lead the Burg to victory I'd say he would have no problem running this offense, especially with the way he runs the ball.

Ptown lost alot last year. Burg has the same D that put a ZERo on the board for SP. If Burg can score, they will win by that many if the D doesnt have a let down

if the burg can keep from turnin the ball over then i see them winnin by 14 points or so. they could be in for a LONG NIGHT if they turn the ball over the way they did against the tigers

i'm surprised how many ppl are actually thinking that SP is gonna win this.
I know I said it will be a good game, but after watching Burg beat Ironton the way they did. It would take a better team than SP to beat them

Wheelersburg is the King of the Mountain and will be favored in any games played in Scioto County and most games in Lawrence County (Ironton would be the exception), until someone can consistently beat them year in and year out. There may have been a hiccup here and there but they have always dominated. So, IMO, I highly doubt South Point could be favored to win this game, IMHO.

And no I'm not a Burg fan until they are in the playoffs but I'm not blinded by team loyalty either.

Burg is fast but not as fast as waverly or piketon. Im not saying there better just faster. Im going with burg by two tds

are you kidding me. piketon faster then the burg---i dont think so. if you are comparing their speed to when they scrimmaged piketon then you have been badly deceived. the burg just ran plays at piketon. looking at individuals in stressful situations. meaning ----( plays) not going to work against a forty but still run the play get what you can get.

as for sp---the burg better be ready. they are a well coached team.
