wellston returns most starters from last year, as far as i know... #20 was an alright runner last year, hard to know cause he ran when minfords D was firing on all cylinders last year... I still have to go with the falcons 35-14

I see this game turning real ugly early. I hope the Falcons don't get to confident with themselves though. These first few games on the schedule are pretty easy. Not trying to get any fans angry or anything but, I think that the Falcons are better than playing teams like River Valley. You gain alot more confidence playing really good teams and winning by a few than winning by 70 points. You might lose a game here or there but come playoff time, you will be better for it.

i can't see wellston improving that much from last year, although i say they have improved somewhat or at least i hope... i dont see wellston closing than 2 or 3 touchdowns.. minford may win by more but it sounds like wellston MAY have a passing game.. so we'll see.. good luck to my falcons.. both teams stay injury free..

I agree! I cannot see that much improvement from last year to realistically challenge. Minford scored over 60 last year in about 3 quarters, and seem to me to be bigger, stronger and faster than last year. Minford should win easily.

Wellston is better than last year. I think some fans are taking them too lightly. Lockard is a nice player. Their qb is nice also. I think Minford will win, but I do think you will see a better more improved football team.

Although many of these Wellston fans insist that "This is not the Wellston team of last year", etc... Until they come out and prove it to us they have improved so much, we will continue to pick them to lose.
