Sadly, Warren may be in for a long night. South's runs a lot of misdirection from their Wing-T, which, in my opinion, is the best offense for a high school team to run.

well with the Philo game behind us lets focus on South....this would be a exceptionally sweet victory for the Warriors on their home field...but if not..heck we beat Belpre...and we don't have to play Fort Frye to prove that we could crush them...but truth be told i'd give my left "arm" to leave Marietta with a win in a couple weeks...

For all indications Warren's "D" played well again. Only two big plays. 6-0 in the third. Warren can hold South out of the end-zone. But can they dial down the 5 int's. Its at home so thats a plus.

This can be a good game. South's offense is suppose to be a bit better than Philo, the defense is suppose to be a bit worse. The team South played was terrible (just ask the South coaches) so it's hard to use it as a yardstick. If Warren can get the blocking back on track so that they have a running game and give the young QBs some time, the offense will progress. Poor blocking, no running game and inexperienced QBs is a bad combination, and that's exactly what we saw at Philo. We took a step back at Philo, and I can't explain it. I know they arrived late and things were scrambled a bit, but the team seemed very, very flat. I doubt that will be case against South. It all starts and stops with the line and I think they will have a much better showing against South. Everything else will build on that.

Old Warren Coach vs. New Warren Coach, if Warren's offense can run/pass this will be a close game if not this could be an ugly game. South 31-10.

I have no idea about Parkersburg South,
however, knowing Coach Bolen, he will have them ready.

Hay good news. The national weather service says it will be cooler by game time tommorrow. It will be @ 88 instead of 92. Still going to be hot and sticky. If trhe Warriors come out like Philo flat and un-excited. It will a looooooong evening. Guessing that it will be a 14 point swing either way. Not sold on Bolen and how good South is.
