Portsmouth has been outscored the last 2 games 62-6 heading into league play. The offensive line play has been well below average, and thus the Trojans have had trouble moving the ball. You can't beat anybody if you can't score, and right now Portsmouth will have a tough time with the Ironmen if they can't put points on the scoreboard.

I love Jackson's Alumni Stadium.......best in SE Ohio!!

well starting football another week earlier takes another toll on our schedule

we have always went to Jackson on apple butter week.

I'm starting to see a pattern with the last two games. Jackson has a strong fist half, but seems to struggle in the second half. Hopefully, that matter has been addressed and they can put together four solid quarters on both sides of the ball. League play begins now, and it's time to crank it up a notch.

Portsmouth has seemed to struggle the last couple weeks but that means nothing for this week. I'm sure the Trojans will be ready to play when they come to Jackson. They have a lot of young talent...it's only a matter of time until things start clicking for them. On the other hand, Jackson has been solid the first three weeks but they do have plenty to work on. The Ironmen need to develop a killer instinct and finish teams off when they have the chance. If they can maintain their level of intensity for four quarters and hold onto the football, I think Jackson will be tough to beat.
