Ill take the Panthers in a close game, home field advantage. I dont mean the officiating ,just being at home.

Re: WEEK 6: COAL GROVE @ CHESAPEAKE
Gotta go with the Grove in this one. I don't think Chesapeake has enough weapons on offense to keep up with the Hornets and after last night's game, I can see Coal Grove dominating the Panthers up front and wearing them down with a steady dose of Delawder from the power-I. I think Wood is a great addition to the backfield. Hopefully the refs aren't as "mysterious" at Chesapeake as they were 2 years ago.

I really hope that Coal Grove comes away with the win. I just hope they pull it together, as they did last night.

Re: WEEK 6: COAL GROVE @ CHESAPEAKE
Unless the refs are blatantly biased this year, they shouldn't be a factor. Coal Grove has way too much talent in the backfield. CG has kept the ball for 30+ minutes against Valley and Newport. Valley beat Chesapeake and Newport probably would too. Coal Grove could easily hold the ball for over 30 minutes against the Panthers unless they score quick.
Chesapeake doesn't have anywhere near the amount of talent they had 2 years ago, anyway. Coal Grove's line isn't as good as it was two years ago, but they have more depth at RB. They can pound you into exhaustion or go right around you.
All of that being said, while CG should have beaten Peake by 2 TDs in 06 (it was CG's own fault they didn't), the refs were biased and hurt CG at critical times and definitely didn't help. Pushing the pile? Puleaze! But I'm not one to pout. Besides, the week after that, I got to watch a bit of a preview of the following year's matchup, as Coal Grove's JV pound Chesapeake's by around 40 and the CG fans were shouting for the coaches to leave the 1st string in.
