Even though they are a D5 school, with their record, Nelsonville-York is sitting on a chest full of computer points if Ironton can defeat them and I'd about venture to guess it would also nail down a home 1st round game for the Fighting Tigers as well.

I'd hope Ironton will be healthy next week when they head there

The '68 and '69 games were SEOAL league games.

The '92 game was in the Division IV Regional Semifinals in Portsmouth. A note from that game - NY held Ironton to fewer points than every other team that season except the team that beat them in the State Championship Game.

Both the Tiger team and TRADITION are worthy of nothing but respect and admiration.

NY will be a huge underdog in this game, and rightfully so. Ironton is a bigger school with bigger kids, but NY will play hard and let the chips fall where they may................

its only my opinion, but from what I senlast night, Lamb was the best player out of the two you posted.

Ironton is a "solid" SEOAL team. They have taken their lumps against the best in the SEOAL, but have handed out some punishment of their own. Looks like N-Y is the best in the TVC. This game is for SEOAL vs. TVC "league" bragging rights. The only measuring stick I have is that Meigs took N-Y into overtime. Meigs would be at the gravely bottom of the SEOAL fish tank. It will be interesting to see what happens, but I will be very surprised if N-Y can keep it within 2 TDs. Good luck to both teams.
