How about the official blowing the play dead as he saw the running back (which did not have the ball) get tackled while Shankweiler was running for the touchdown?

I guess it's a good thing it wasn't a close game because a couple of plays later, Wheelersburg fumbled and Northwest recovered.

Brandon Schankweiler is very good at running the fake and one of the best I've seen since Eaton used to do it all the time. How many times did we see the same thing happen to him?

that is very true---need to always warn the ref's about the fakes and option. i believe b. shank is doing this with more of the option look ---reading the a d-lineman.

Yeah, it was a play or two later Shank went back to pass and the ball got knocked out of his hand and was recovered by Northwest then they threw a pass and we intercepted it right back.
