OHSAA shows weeks 6, 7, 9 and 10 to be open. Should still have Wheelersburg, Ashland, Portsmouth, Russell for one more year and Gallipolis for one more year. Beyond that is anyone's guess.

I'm sure they will have the teams you mentioned. Some friends of mine that are in the know tell me they are scheduled to play Oak Hill, Ohio next year. If they told me its probably a done deal. They did'nt tell me what week.

Oak Hill?? Really??

Why would they play such a small school that has never really had any success except for those two straight seasons just recently? Are they having trouble finding opponents again?

Hard to imagine what would be gained by Ironton playing Oak Hill. Gate? Possibly a short road game, if it is one n one. It won't be an addition to the "brutal" schedule.

NOW, for a moment think if we had the league that everyone, except the boys in the SOC, would like to see...PHS, Ironton, West, The Burg, Jackson, Valley, Minford. These are the ones I can think of,,,the schedule would not really be an issue and the games would have great gates, good games, close games for fans and soforth...I know this will nvever happen,,,but what if??
