All Time Southern Ohio Linebackers

Post by MTSWNGRVSG »

Just thought we would put this up and see what responses we get? I will put three guys up to start:

Ed Thompson-New Boston, Waverly-Ohio State
Glen Cobb-Miami Trace-Ohio State
Turner-Hillsboro-Michigan State

I am sure there are many others so lets list them.

Rocket -

Ken Culbertson went to WVU if I'm not mistaken.

I'd also add:

Tommy Smith, Logan - O.U.
Bryan Lambert, Logan - Edinborough
Matt Mong, Logan - Dayton

Jared Wren, Athens - (Knee injuries)

Ken Culbertson was also in the Dallas Cowboys organization for a while.
I always heard that he had a chance to make the team as a rookie but he came home when his mother past away and fell too far behind. He did some other work for them but can't remember.

That is a great success story. What high school did he attend? Waverly?

Yes, was a team leader at Fairmont and coached there for 5 years. Finished playing in 2002 I believe. I coached him at Waverly he played Guard and LB.
