TVC-Ohio Leaderboard week 8

Wow, talk about a terrible week for some of the leagues key offensive players ... Four players went down with injuries, which will probably have an effect on the player of the year race ... Its definitly a shame these kids got injured and I wish nothing but the best for all of them - hopefully their injuries turn out to be not so serious and they can make their way back to the field this season. I made some changes to the poll, I think with NY and Athens playing so well this year - the award will most likely go to a player from one of those two teams.

OBSERVATIONS FROM THIS WEEKS LEADERBOARD:

1) Its crazy to see how well Athens and NY are doing in terms of the team stats - they are just blowing away the rest of the field.
2) The No. 2 passer (Skinner), the No. 3, 4 and 5 rushers (Roush, Prater & Bennett) ALL went down with injuries and their return this season is in question.
3) Dustin Young leads all league rushers - but shares the touchdown lead (9 TD's) with Athens running back Devon Sharp.
4) How about Wellston WR Austin Craig? Leads all league recievers with 8 rec for 194 yds and 2 TD's.

Any news out of Albany on the status of Trey Bennett? Will he play this week? Is he out for the season?
