Re: 2009 SEOAL Previews: Logan Chieftains
Good job LoganLocos, Looks like another potent Offense for the Chieftains on a pretty Senior laden team. Should be another great year for the Chieftains.
I was wondering if it would be possible to put an asterisk by the returning starters and maybe an asterisk for each year they have been a starter? I know some of the teams you would need help with but would be some good info.
Great job........

I agree with OHbuckeye, great job. it looks like if you are going to get Logan this year, it better be early on. 4 out of first 5 on the road. this team looks to be loaded for another good season.

With Patrick Angle back at QB, the Chieftains are my pick to win the SEOAL again.

Locos: At the top is says there are 6 offensive starters returning, but there are only 4 with asterisks in the team listing.
Inquiring minds want to know . . .

Re: 2009 SEOAL Previews: Logan Chieftains
On offensive last year, I believe Michael Snider, Jeff Murphy and Tim King all started for the Chieftains.

Fixed now.
I'm including only guys who started at least 5-6 games. Ryan Sigler started several games at defensive end (when Neff had his concussion) and Jordan Rutter also started several games at DB during Clay Morgan's injury (with Mays moving to LB).
Michael Snider split time with Stephen Miller pretty much evenly at fullback, but I don't really consider that a "starting" position in the offense anymore.

Sweet! Did you move out of town LG or do you still live in Logan? How fast is he? You KNOW that we need LBer's! I'd imagine if he started for Scioto at DL at that size he'd make a hell of a Logan LB'er.

Glad to have Alex back in the fold.
Of course the Chiefs always need good quick D-Linemen too! Look at Louisville's DLine, all around 200 pounds or less and just dominate. Looking for a noseguard to replace Sigler (who had a hell of year last year).
Going to be a lot of opportunities on the D-Line and in the linebacking corps. Like the defensive coaching, defense will come through, I have little doubt.

I'd say a 25-pete or whatever the count is for Logan's SEOAL chapmpionships haha
