Re: Week 2 Portsmouth West (1-0) @ Portsmouth (1-0)
Probably coming down to Portsmouth next weekend for this game. I won't be able to make it to the Jackson-Portsmouth game, so I plan to check out the new stadium this coming week instead.
I don't know my way around Portsmouth very well. Can someone give me directions to the new stadium from Jackson?

Photos from last night's epic match-up between Fairland and West Portsmouth are now online at BUCKEYESHOTS.COM. Great game by both teams and good luck with the remainder of the season!

If west plays anything like they did in the first half against Fairland, Portsmouth will cruise to an easy win. But if they Play like they did in the second half could it could be a very interesting game. I'm excited to see the turnout on Saturday.

The school is on Gallia but you can turn left onto Gallia from 23. So you'll need to make a left on 4th (52 is 11th or 12th street to give you an idea of how far south to go) and go a few blocks till you see the back of the library/elementary school. The stadium is across the street from those buildings. Might be a decent place to park back there since the high school lot will most likely fill up really quick.

I don't think West or Triplett will come into this one unprepared. It should be a pretty good game.

Thanks for the directions and good luck to the Trojans.

By the way, when you get to the 23 south, 52 east intersection, stay in the left lane. The road turns into 2 lanes south of 23 and the right lane is forced to turn right at the next street.

Hey Trojan fans don't forget to wear white to the game. Also there's a Twitter for game action scores and news. http://www.twitter.com/trojansports

Wow! This looks like a very interesting match-up! Both had poor first-halves against underdog opponents in week 1. Friday morning, I would have told you West would be the heavy favorite, but now who knows?

That is about double the seating capacity at the Coliseum.
