Some people just don't have a clue, do they. After you beat a team you want them to win as many games as possible. Even if this person would happen to be from Waverly they would still want the Burg to win so if they would beat them they get more points.

Hopefully the Burg doesn't have a let down like a few years back when they Lost to Ironton, South Point, and St Clairsville to open the season. I think they will rebound and win this one at home.

last year south point was driving to tie the game late and fumbled the ball so i see this game being the same.The burg will win but in a much closer game then everyone thinks

The last time that Burg lost to Ironton to open the season, they went to SP flatter than a pancake and got beat. Need to guard against that happening again.

Don't look at the Ironton game and think The Burg is weak. They have a very good team and will roll over the pointers.

South Point is no Ironton but they are well coached. SP graduated a lot last year. A dangerous game for Burg but Burg should win by 17.

this will be a good game til the fourth quarter but again south point will fade like they did against portsmouth ... lets just hope shilot has a playbook this game other than his 3 plays that he runs or whatever it is .... its not previews anymore why hold anything back its pointless ... just hope to see dickess back and healthy for the point this week, he showed heart last week just playin defense the way he did ... good luck to the pointers, prove me wrong!

this friday is gonna be one tough battle for the Pointers as their goin up against the Pirates...I agree with Championship 100% on this one...Shilot has got to run more than juss a few plays outa the playbook...I know this team can throw and catch the ball...Yes Dickess was out last week but Mitchell can throw it...he had one pass for one touchdown...South Point needs to move Doug back to the full-back spot and put Brandon at the half-back spot...Doug is much more powerful than him...But Shilot HAS to run some PA's...if not then the Burg runs away with this one quick...every team around here knows SP runs the ball 30 times a game...throw it atleast 5 times on PA's and see what you get...you can run, but Dickess can throw the ball 70 yards or so, YOU HAVE TO THROW THE BALL SHILOT!!!
