Unioto has the injury bug.
This one get ugly early.

This is the perfect game for Westfall. There should be no more talk of blowing someone out. They need to focus and take care of business one play at a time. Hopefully they learned their lesson.

Injury bug has hit the Mustangs too.

The two reasons that most programs use as an excuse for not winning are injuries and youth. Youth is directly related to coaching. If you're young three years in a row, what does that tell you? If that staff were carpenters, would you let them build your house? Injuries are part of the game. A huge part of injuries is coaching related also. Though coaching certainly can't be blamed for all injuries. But, if kids aren't taught the correct techique as far as blocking and tackling it can lead to alot of injuries. Also, if the off season training is not what it should be, that is the programs fault as well. Some coaches just shouldn't be coaching. They don't understand. They don't even know that they don't understand. Just my thoughts.

wffan, any word on salvito? I couldn't see what happened from where I was but to see T down there like she was I know he had to be hurting.

Smaet guy, I don't know exactly what you are impling but the injuries wffan is are legit. Salvito was taken away in the squad Friday night, #25 looked like he took a helmet to the knee early in game and was put on crutches, and Near got taken down pretty hard when he was mid air trying to catch a pass. those are 3 injuries I don't think could have been avoided no matter what. I don't know if those are the injuries wffan is referring and I do not know the status of the three players but if they are out the mustangs could really be hurting.

as for this game, I think Westfall comes away with the Win. I thought I read that unioto's QB was injured also?

I was just wondering, I don't know about Unioto but those 3 injuries I don't think could have been avoided for Westfall. I know many are questioning why there were so many linping on the field Friday night for the Mustangs that is something only Keller could answer.

I thought I read that the QB for Unioto was out for injury, but I hadn't read anything about others.

we're getting quite the history together, these 2 teams.

Westfall needs a lot to happen to make it this year. this is the time where Keller made changes last year to the team so I look for more positive results on the feild. what really need is for TV to go into league play and win, win, win.

Salvito is ok but sore. He was stumbling after a catch and was talked from behind. His head was down and landed head first. He had tingling in his extremities.

#25 didn't get a helmet to the knee. He stepped in a small hole and his knee "popped" according to him. I haven't heard anything but it could be an ACL or MCL which would mean the end of the season. Again, only speculation.

#23...I heard he broke his ankle.
#28...Hip popped out

Not sure what was wrong with Near. But all four receivers were down!

WOW, I didn't realize we had 4 go down I thought it was only 3. I know we got the talent to step up and fill their shoes but having 4 of your go to guys out has to do something to moral.

I hope the boys have it together this week though, I really want to see them beat the SVC record this week

I hope so bengalfan I really hope so. Something seems to be missing from the team this year. They just don't seem like they are there and ready to play, almost like they have lost their spark. whatever it is I hope Keller has figured it out and put the fire back in them. the potential and skill is there and they still have a shot at week 11. alot needs to happen but anything can happen.
