Re: Week 5 Belpre @ Wellston
After watching Belpre play the last two weeks, if they go to Wellston and commit no turnovers, I like the Eagles. They are quickly improving, and a much different team than what they were three weeks ago.

Until Wellston plays 4 quarters they will not win . You have to play for 48 min and the Rockets dont.

Look for the Eagles to put together another fine offensive performance, like the Alexander game, and improve their defensive performance and come out of Wellston with their first win of the season. They will also need some better coaching decisions to beat the Rockets in Wellston. Lets go Eagles!!!

Final contest between the two schools for the forseeable future. Belpre's TVC Ohio Farewell Tour continues.

I like the EAGLES in this one. If they continue to get better this week and keep the mistakes to a minimum they will bring home the win. Let's go EAGLES!!!

wellston comes out this week and hammers the eagles and if #44 is in the line up for wellston this week they'll shut Belpre out!

Re: Week 5 Belpre @ Wellston
Wellston has more problems than just 44 not being on the feild. The kids never give up but they are not being given a chance to win. The play calling and coaching decisions seem to be unimaginative and in some cases bone headed (fake punt anyone). They come out of the locker room in 3rd quarter with no noticeable changes or adjustment having been made. While the opponent makes their adjustments. I see no improvement on the year or even since the staff has been here the we have injuries argument is wearing thin what will the reason be after he gets back? Having watched Wellston football for going on 25 years I have about had all I can stand to watch of this I will continue to support the boys but they need a coaching shake up.

Sorry but 4 touches or no touches a kid does not quit. The kid proves he is the guy. He will get the carries. Bad decision.

I wish all the kids luck hate to see any of them quit the team. He was only a sophmore he sould be happy with getting any touches. I hope he learns in life if you want something you just work harder.Nothing is given to you . I will still be watching at least the home games not sure about any road games. I do want to see the alexander game just because coach Arno was/is a good guy. They are the only other team i root for every week beside wellston game.

Re: Week 5 Belpre @ Wellston
Belpre wins. Wellston coaching staff is horrible. Never any adjustments. Wellston out coached in the 2nd half of every game. Like what was said earlier, Wellston has plenty of talent but the poor coaching staff is the demise of this team. It will be like this until these joke coaches are gone.
Re: Week 5 Belpre @ Wellston
Ok I am confused. First and i am serious.
1. Plenty of talent? It was not obvious to me in the Jackson game. Wellston was lucky the score was not a much wider margin. Thank Jackson for having so many key penalties.
2. The Minford game. I know Welsston came back on the Falcons. Was it in the second quarter or second half?
Instead a griping about the adjustments i would question how a team starts poorly in weeks 2 and three.
On the other hand i woudl praise the Rockets for coming out strong in week 4 even though they eventually lost the game.
