this one will be over after the kick off. imo a repeat of the hammy or gallia game.

Re: SEOAL Marietta (1-5) @ Logan (6-0)
Perry Wheeler had a great game against Jackson in Week 6. The Ironmen did a pretty good job against him on the ground, but he made some big plays on a couple screen passes that really kept Marietta in the game. I definitely like Logan in this game by a wide margin, but Marietta does have some playmakers.
I'm taking the Chiefs by 4 TDs. That's not an insult to Marietta, but more of a compliment to Logan.

The dreaded trap game. With undefeated Warren away the next week, Logan might actually be looking ahead (imagine that, Warren!), especially after a physical win last week against Zanesville. Still, even with a letdown of emotion, Logann just has way too much for Marietta. Logan wins big, if not much entertainment value. Hopefully, the offense clicks.

The Chieftains are way too much for the Tigers to handle. Looks like the younger players should get a lot of playing time this friday. Just hope everybody stays healthy.

pbuck, "Logan will move to 7-0 in a laugher over Marietta". You are rude. Like you or your team could do any better. Logan is a great team. The Tigers will do all they can to handle Logan. I think Jackson was suprised with how the Tigers played, I hope Logan will be thinking the same thing when it is all said and done. As far as Warren and Logan next week, Logan is not overlooking anyone. I hope that Warren can pull the win out. The are Working hard and have turned things around. Washington County is very proud of them.

Perhaps "overlook" is not the correct word. But there could be a letdown. After an emotional win at Ironton and a showdown against an undefeated Zanesville team for a leg up in the playoff push, Logan is bound to be a little laid back this week. I'm not speaking for the team (who is on here?), it just seems to me to be logical. Has Marietta EVER won in Hocking County? I don't know but I'd like to find the answer. Seems I heard that they hadn't a couple of years ago and I was just wondering.
As for the game and how it might play out, I see Logan running their basic spread offenese (still sounds strange for a team that was all smash-mouth a few years ago) to score early and often. The defense will want to continue their string of shut-down performances. It could be all over by halftime with the reserves getting quality time in the second half. But Logan has to be sharp and serious or the varsity could be in there longer than expected.

That is indeed a false...Marietta beat Logan AT Logan in 1951 13-6.

I was in town a couple of years ago when Marietta came to the Hilltop. Took in the game and witnessed something like a 70-21 Logan win. Was as bad a ballgame as I have seen. That wasn't the Marietta from the old days. I've seen this years team vs Pick North. If Marietta isn't any better than a few years ago, a similar score could be in the cards.
