Agree, they have pitched three shut outs, varsity D has not been scored on and held Crooksville to -15 yards rushing last week. Only game that points have been put on the board was Morgan, that game was 47-0 @ half and Morgans varsity unit put up three fourth quarter scores on a bunch of JV back ups. They will be tested this week however, Cambridge is 4-0 and senior RB DeShawn Lewis has rushed for over 700 yards to this point.

Jackson has to be at least on the list. On the 2nd and 3rd game we had our 1st team on the bench early in the third quarter. We did get burned on a few long plays at Logan but no team has really had any sustained drives against the Ironmen.
Nasty in the middle starting at nose and continueing on with the linebackers.

Nasty? gave up 32 points to a poor logan offense?

How many sustained drives? I believe that I conceeded that we gave up big plays during that game.

Nelsonville, Jackson, Athens. These are the three defenses I have seen play and all three are very good imo.

West defense is mean and nasty and from the line back to the safeties they will smack you in the mouth. You add Conway Cooper who just got back healthy and they have to be on anyones list that has seen them

jackson has to have one of the best around there only giving up on average 9.8 points per game with tons of int sacs and tackels for losses yeah they had there heads up the butts against logan and didnt play near there potenial but i hink they made up for that last night against warren by holding that high powered offense to 17 points and locking down the red zone!!!

Westsiders- Mean and Nasty. Living up to their reputation! Nobody has scored more than 7pts on their starters. PHS returned a fumble, and R.H. scrored 14 on subs. These boys can hit, weight room is showing!

West starters have given up 28 out of 56 points.
Thats a average of 5.6 for the starters and 11.2 for the team.
Those are some good numbers there.
