Week 5 : Portsmouth West @ Chesapeake

Could be a good game...peake played valley tough a week before...what is everybody's thoughts??

Chesapeake is very good with the run and pass, and a strong defense and Valley had there hands full. West must prepare for a balanced offense and a quarterback that can tuck it and run, With that being said I think West can come away with the win but this will be the best team West has played so far this season. GO WEST ! SOC 2

Peake is a solid team. If west takes them lightly things could get very interesting. However, if the senators come to play from the 1st snap to the last I dont see peake stopping them. West by 2-3 scores.

What I have seen of the Valley/Chesapeake game. Chesapeake is very skilled. Excellent speed at the skill positions and the Qb can throw the ball. Same double wing but the receivers get down the field quickly and they throw well out of it. Nice size on the oline. Backs seem really good at being patient and finding the creases.

If you watched last years game they competed well with us. At least for the first half they made it hard for us to run the ball. Their QB was out last year.

This will be a very competitive ballgame.

This may be a very good game. Peake has gotten better in the past few years.
It'll be close but I'll have to go with West to win, but I'd like to see Peake win it

I feel its a little of both. West is a VERY good team this year, but we have yet to face a some good competition. This week will be our first actual test against the peak.

If we get up on them early we can control the tempo and the clock. The pressure falls on the Defense this week. Pressure the QB and force turnovers and we get the Win.

I think its a little bit of both...I also think Chesapeake is an SOC2 type team. So, It's chesapeake and then the rest of the OVC is that bad.

That said, West is also VERY good. The ole Coop is thinking about making the trip and bringing gameday LIVE to Valley vs. West.

Wish I could say good luck to Peake, but conference ties baby!!
