OVC 2010
Re: OVC 2010
Pointers have some great Freshmen coming in but I still don't think they can win the OVC yet. We will win more games than last year and won't be at the top of the OVC but we won't be the bottom of the league either!

Re: OVC 2010
I voted my Grove but Rock Hill will be tough next year, as will South Point, I believe one loss in conference next year won't hurt you, all teams right now are looking to be close together.
Re: OVC 2010
It's gonna be close but Coal Grove will end and i'm considering going to Oak Hill-Rock Hill game and i go to CGHS b/c Sloan V.s. Mccollister is gonna be a good battle

Re: OVC 2010
If Rock Hill can find a running game, they'll be a serious threat to go over .500 overall. They should win at least 3 conference games, just like this year and could definitely give Coal Grove a run for their money.
Coal Grove will have a very deep backfield once again and will likely have a large plurality of the best skill players in the OVC.
South Point should be better, but I can't see them getting to .500 on the year.
Chesapeake will lose Lindsay and Freyre, I believe. Those are some very notable losses, but they always seem to scrape up some scrappy skill kids.
Fairland should be alright, but they won't be as good as this past year.

Re: OVC 2010
i think the grove will be on the top, but i see a better over all ovc and some tough games. after watching alot of the jvs this past year that it will be a close race in the ovc. cheasy, fairland, southpoint, will be better rock hill had alot of young talent. it will be a exciting 2010 and a better ovc.
Re: OVC 2010
The reason for improvement is OVC schools starting to play better non league schedules!I think we will see a steady improvement overall the next few years!

Re: OVC 2010
I think the Grove has it till someone proves they can take it from them. Look at it River Valley is already eliminated. Rock Hill has the best chance to win it outside the Grove, but i dont think they are there just yet. The other ones just dont have it either.

who will replace ferguson at qb for cg. he was the difference in this years team. i think the grove will miss him more than anyone they lose from last years team.

I agree with you completely,,,we opened up the passing game a little with him,,,now we will probably go back to classic Coal Grove football,,,unless they get Goodwin in early and get him use to the offense,,,in the playoff game once Evan got hurt we went to almost straight run,,,we need to keep the offense open and to keep defenses guessing.
Re: OVC 2010
If Rock Hill finds a running game, they'll be a lot tougher than they've been the last two years.
Without a running game and decent blocking, well, it'll be more of the same.
