Playoffs D6R21 #2 Valley vs #3 Grandview Heights

Post by lineman7 »

Thoughts? Where will it be played? Other posters have said Nelsonville York is not hosting games this year (thank god as it isn't big enough).

nelsonville is plenty big enough for a div 6 game imo. pretty good parking maybe a little tight on the visitors side but overall a very nice facility. i have read on other posts however that nelsonville didnt put in for a playoff game this year. not sure if thats true or not.

Valley played there 2 or 3 years in a row and not enough seating... last time a lot of people just didnt go which sucks because the team deserves to be supported

I can see where they might not have wanted to host this year, as they have had some turmoil this season within the district . hope the situations all get taken care. It takes alot of effort and manpower to host regular season games let alone post season which the Buckeyes have done admirably for several years

As for the game, this will be a dandy rematch . hoping the Indians can keep coming out and playing with heart and guts , and with the bumps, bruises, dings ,scratches, cuts ,turf burns, aches that go along with it too

ROLL TRIBE !!

I'm hearing the same thing on the thread for the burg game. If it's true I'm glad. I hate the drive and IMO the seating sucks

How about Logan Elm's field? I believe Valley once played a playoff game there before?

Chillicothe makes sense. Easy drive for both sets of fans and beautiful new facility. Bad parking, but easy walks from the surrounding neighborhoods.

Bulldog - I would agree. Did Athens put in to host this year?

Chillicothe would be a much better site and much safer... its a real hazard to drive from Lucasville to Athens with all the deer. Straight down 23 for both schools to Chillicothe is easy and reasonable drive and close to the same distance

What time do they usually release sites?
