Someone call VCTRANSPLANT!
He's gonna be wearing some Brown and Orange next week......
I figured he'd disappear when he realized VC wasn't that good and NY was as good as I said they were..... So week 1 lol

NY probably gone roll in Week 9 which means Week 10 is gonna be a dandy.
Re: Wk9 Nelsonville-York (6-2) @ Vinton County (3-5)
Be careful what you wish for,you said the same thing last year. I'm backing VCTransplant and think you will look great in your Maroon and white next week. Vikes play their best game and send you back to Buchtel realizing you are not as good as you think you are, just like last year.Orange and Brown wrote:Someone call VCTRANSPLANT!

Vikes had their best game versus Meigs and got hammered by River Valley, NY will win big.VCPops wrote:Be careful what you wish for,you said the same thing last year. I actually didn't say the same thing last year and you guys definitely aren't beating us this year.VCPops wrote:Be careful what you wish for,you said the same thing last year. Maybe next year though. Coach Downs has VC moving in the right direction.

after last night in not sure . This was a test to see if VC is moving up the TVC ladder and they failed miserably .Orange and Brown wrote:I actually didn't say the same thing last year and you guys definitely aren't beating us this year.VCPops wrote:Be careful what you wish for,you said the same thing last year. NY in this one. The buckeye defense seems to be the class of the league this year. The offense is doing well also. Buckeyes average 48.5 points in 4 league games and are only giving up 3 points a game in the TVC.

My prediction this week:
Nelsonville-York - 56
Vinton County - 0
Buckeyes defense puts in another shutout!!

I say 49-0. I think Coach Richards toys to hold the score down some this week.

Re: Wk9 Nelsonville-York (6-2) @ Vinton County (3-5)
I would say you are right about holding the score down a bit. Last week there was some added personal incentive from the recent past coaching wise. While this week a pay back beating is in order, not to the extent of last week. Though the shutout will be preserved at all costs if possible.Orange and Brown wrote:I say 49-0. Alex Mount is by far the best back in the TVC, he is for sure the best back in the area. This man is a physical and flashy leader. He is as good as it gets, no one stands in his way, coming into week 8, he is still averaging over 12 yards a carry. People may say he is weak, but he has came through an almost broken foot, torn ligaments in his shoulder, busted head, and even a rib that punctured his lung. He has came back from all of this to become the best back area. This man is a team player and loves what his line does for him. Alex Mount is going to run all over the remainder of his career at NY.

Yes he is one cog of the 3 Headed Monster that has been unleashed this year. Finally someone figured out to just turn these 3 loose, then sit back and reap the benefits. Not much in way of play calling needed when you have that beast of a trio to rely on. One thing we don't see this year are comments from the opponents like, "we've been hearing for years about this monster so where is it...?" I'm sure they wish they would not have stirred up that bee hive.Buckeyes98 wrote:Alex Mount is by far the best back in the TVC, he is for sure the best back in the area. You have a pretty good freshman as well in #3 coming up through the ranks.
Jackson's freshman team came up last night to play your JV squad and the young man I think was responsible for most of the scores lol.
Always nice to play at NY, very nice facility, thanks for hosting our 9th graders we have only played a handful of times this year.
