He his speaking and signing autographs. for an autograph it is $15 only 400 of these tickets. one item signed per ticket. then $10 general addmission. gates open at 3:30.

Is this like the one they did last year with James Laurinitis? I went to that and it was great! Neat auction and James was a great speaker. A fun evening, would recommend it to anyone whether you are a Jackson fan or not.

The positivity in this thread is overflowing.

Personally, I think it's a good thing that the Football Mothers Club has been able to bring in Jame Laurinaitis and Beanie Wells to speak at Jackson. Beanie's career at OSU was plagued by injury, but when healthy (and also while playing hurt) he had a great career. The numbers support that too.

I actually do think he's a Top 10 RB at OSU. Beanie ranks 4th on OSU's all-time rushing list behind Archie, Eddie, and Tim Spencer with 3,382 yards for his career. He has a rare combination of size, strength, and speed that you don't see very often. He carried the OSU offense on his back in his final season and we'll always remember his efforts against Michigan, especially the 39 carries for 222 yards and 2 TDs in the Big House as a sophomore. If he stays healthy, I think Beanie will be a good pro at Arizona. He was already showing signs of being a very solid NFL back last season.

02 ,, Didnt mean to sound negative. I think it is great that the Mothers club gets these guys in there to speak to the youth on more than just football ,but life and how hard it is to do what they have done.

I was just asking opinions on where people thought Beanie ranked . I have him outside of the top ten ,simply because there have been a ton of great backs at OSU .
