Teams in our area...Burg is currently at 23 anyone know their best?
I'm sure ironton has a long one with the history they have and didn't Valley go 3 seasons undefeated when they won the Soc 2 if so they should also have a nice streak.
Just wondering where Burg stands considering last season was the first undefeated since 89'

Ironton went 58 games unbeaten (ties included) from 1977-83.

For Nelsonville-York, it was the 1981 and 1982 seasons. Including the playoffs, the Buckeyes won 24 games in a row.

If you count only the regular season, it would be the 1981, 1982 and 1983 seasons. The Buckeyes won 22 regular season games in a row.

Valley I believe went 40-0 from 1995-1999, I think that record still stands. But the undefeated SOC 2 streak for 3 seasons seems like it should mean more. Specially during a time no one gave them any credit or chance to win.

Logan won 29 straight games from 1999-2001. Lost the opener in 1999 (to New Lexington) and went 10-0 in both 2000 and 2001. The 2000 team finished 12-1 and the regional runner-up. The 1999 lost in the first round of the playoffs to Pickerington while the 2001 team also lost in the first round to Dublin Coffman.

They repeated the same 29 straight wins in 2007-2009. Again losing the opener in 2007 (to Lancaster) and finishing 10-0 in 2008 and 2009. The 2008 team lost in teh second round to Louisville and the 2009 team lost in the second round to Brookhaven.

Wow I had no idea Valley had a 41 game winning streak in the 90's they should be somewhat close to that with 30 plus and the Soc titles a few years back. And 29 by Logan twice is impressive.
