Re: Tri-Valley Conference.com web site
IVE ADDED THE SOUTH GALLIA PAGE & WAHAMA PAGE: I HAD TO BUILD MY OWN LOGOS FOR EACH TEAM - I HOPE THEY LOOK ACCURATE ... ITS DEFINITLY WEIRD SEEING THE NEW DIVISIONS - THE SITE OFFERS A BIT OF GLIMPS IN HOW THE FUTURE OF THE TVC WILL LOOK.

Re: Tri-Valley Conference.com web site
I just checked your page for Southern Tornadoes. The head football coach for 2010 is Kyle Wickline. The head volleyball coach for 2009 and 2010 is Katie Dickson. Alan Crisp is the athletic director and the girls basketball coach.

Re: Tri-Valley Conference.com web site
TTT ... Still improving the web site ... check out all the pages (leaderboards, schedules, TVC-news & all the team pages) ... you will find their all different and better ... I would still like to make it even better though ... any suggestions would be great ... does certain pages/layouts look alright? what can be done to improve select pages in terms of appearance? Change the layout? change the template? increase/decrease the fonts or pictures? How about some different info I need to add?
any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Well I do like the pic where you show Athens as TVC-Ohio Champions and clear at the bottom of the page you have a little pic that says that Trimble won the Hocking! Did you forget to mention that Athens was Co-Champions last year?
It's looking good though! Keep up the good work.

Re: Tri-Valley Conference.com web site
lol ... I can only use what pictures I have or have access to ... that Athens picture I got from the Bulldog Blitz web site - but if you notice, there is an EASTERN EAGLES TVC-Hocking hoops champion pic - and, of all the TEAM pages, I think Nelsonville-York's turned out the best ... its got some good pics and it just set up nice with the stuff I had to work with.
I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE MORE PICTURES AND ACCESS TO A WHOLE VARIETY OF PICS - BUT I DON'T - IF ANYONE IS WILLING TO SEND ME SOME THAT I COULD USE THAT WOULD BE GREAT!

Re: Tri-Valley Conference.com web site
Shouldn't NY be listed ahead of Athens in the official league standings since NY won the head-to-head matchup?
Just saying.
Just saying.

Re: Tri-Valley Conference.com web site
good point NYBuckeye ... But the correct way to list any league standings (iin case of a tie) is done by using the Alphabet ...
And actually, some newspapers and other governing bodies will go to a teams OVERALL RECORD next - as opposed to labeling the teams tied and listing them in alphabetical order ...
Either way, Athens would be on top ... lol ...
Athens (9-1), (5-1)
NY (8-2), (5-1)
That head-to-head scenerio is never really used for league standings because there are to many other factors that accompanies an entire season ... Like the "Alexander factor" this past fall ... How can someone explain Athens beating the Spartans 33-7 - and yet NY losses 21-0 to the same exact team - but then you have NY beating Athens 14-13 (and all this took place in a three-week period)
The bottom line is: a league champion has to be determined by a teams "total body of work" - and allowing co-champions with identical league records probably is the best way to handle things (when it comes to high school athletics) ... so having the Bucks and Dogs sit atop the standings at the end the year with a championship trophy in hand: seemed pretty o.k. in my book.
They both earned it by going 5-1 against their TVC-Ohio opponents. If you allowed a head-to-head scenerio to determine a champion - then the entire season would be defined by a single game - and that wouldn't be fair to players or coaches who work their tail off to win every league game (not just one) ... Hence the phrase: LEAGUE CHAMPION
Now the DOC KRONER TROPHY and bragging rights (which in many eyes is just as important - or actually even better to own) belongs solely to the Nelsonville-York Buckeyes and no other. Truthfully: I would rather have the trophy and bragging rights as opposed to being listed 1st on some standings board ... lol ...

They are not called The Plains Athens Highschool, It's Athens Highschool.
, So I think A comes before N and you also go by overall record.

Dundas ... you are absolutly correct man - I will fix that ... if you noticed, I have Athens before Alex on all the sports standings ... if was just an oversight.
